Look out for new faction and officer type Damage Controls as they have been added alongside this change.
Maybe in this brave new world of pre-bonused hull damage resistances we can start to forego it (although nothing may change). All ships will instead now have a 33% bonus to all hull damage resistance. As most PVP-active EVE players will attest to, the Damage Control has long been a fitting staple for most optimal PVP-setups. Wait, maybe I can leave that back at home? The Damage Control module is set to go from an active to a passive module and will have its hull resist reduced. If a character has not added you back they will remain offline until they too add you. This will surely shake-up a few facets of EVE not limited to hunting a specific target (such as a Supercarrier, Titan, or Jump Freighter), knowing if that cloaky camper or roaming gang logged off when he went to the next system over, or general spying activities. Being able to see another characters online status via the watch list will now require mutual consent.

CCP aims to deliver with this patch, as it is chocked full of space goodies. ( YC 118.3) This new patch contain a host of EVE online additions, tweaks, and changes. On March 4, CCP released next the patch notes for the March 8 update.
