It's not the weather, it's been 80 degrees now. I adjusted the settings on the dash cam and raised the voltage cut-off from 11.9V to all the way to 12.3 and even enabled "winter battery protection." Plugged the cam back in and same thing still happens dead battery in the morning. I did this for a week and that seemed to fix the problem. I then decided to disconnect my dash cam at night before going to bed, and now my car suddenly starts like normal without a hiccup. I went to AutoZone to have the battery tested in 2 different cities and they both told me it was a good battery. Suddenly, my car's battery drains and I need to jump start it. I've had it for 1.8 years and everything has been working perfectly. So I've had a Thinkware F800 Pro with the Thinkware hardwiring kit and I've been happy with it. TL DR: Dash cam suddenly decides to record in parking mode at 11 volts (not even an option on settings) and keeps draining my battery. If the dashcam model is unknown, a tag of “” or similar is acceptable. For example: “ Something interesting happened, here’s what my dashcam captured”.
